1999 WAEC English Objective Questions
Note Before
1. The WAEC English Language Objective paper tests the same areas every year. Each section addresses such topics as Antonyms, Synonyms, Idiomatic expression, Lexis and Structure, etc. If you master these areas you will almost be ready for the WAEC English Language exam.
2. After you have answered a few questions in a section, go back to the instructions given for that section and re-read to be sure of what you have been asked to do.
This is because some candidates, maybe due to excitement or anxiety, forget what the instruction is and start answering ‘nearest in meaning’ whereas they are being quizzed on ‘opposite in meaning’.
Practice, Practice, Practice
