WAEC also organizes a WASSCE for people who are no longer in school which they refer to as WASSCE for Private Candidates. This examination takes place in January and October each year. WAEC recently announced a migration of the examination for private candidates to computer-based testing (CBT)
How to Get Your SSCE Certificate
After sitting for any of the Senior School Certificate Examinations, you can proceed to check your results online when the results are released, usually two months after the last paper was written.
