February 2019; Time To Review Goals

It’s February already!

Time to review short terms goals and set new ones if necessary.

Even if I knew that tomorrow the world would go to pieces, I would still plant my apple tree.

Time to review goals

January’s Promise

January often comes with a new promise.

For those who did not fare well in the previous year, it provides an opportunity for a fresh start. There is renewed hope and strength.

We believe that the brand new month of the new year provides a clean slate to re-work unproductive ideas or birth new ones.

January is also the month to set new goals for the year which we hope to have attained by the time the year comes to an end.

Willing to Change

Some of us faithfully stick to the goals we have made. We do not stop to think whether it is working or still desirable.

As the year progresses, it is a good idea to review your goals and determine if they are still your priority. You can check the direction you are going and change if there is reason to do so.

People who frequently change their plans may be accused of being inconsistent. However, it is necessary to be fluid in your attempts to achieve a desired outcome. If something is not working, we should not be afraid to change it.

Aristotle was a Greek Philosopher who stated that it is in the nature of all things to change. So we should be prepared to change our plans and decisions if doing so would bring us closer to achieving our goals and objectives.

Therefore, we should keep an open mind regarding the trajectory that we have set for ourselves at the beginning of the year.

When February comes around, we may need to review our goals and the blueprint for achieving them. We may find one or two ideas that need tweaking. Or we may find that we need to drop the entire line of endeavor as it might not be suitable in the end.

Bottom-line; as you carry out your plans, make sure to take time to review your goals.

We would love to hear from you
